Many of you have called or emailed me with concern for our classmate Albert Faggard, Class of 1973. I have some good news and some bad news. He called me last week and he said he was alive and kicking! That's the Good News! The bad news is he lost everything except a few clothes and art supplies. If any of our classmates from any year would like to help a fellow classmate and victim of this tragic natural disaster "Hurricane Ike" please do so.
You can send a cashiers check, money order, or personal check to the Fredericksburt Art Gallery made out to Albert Faggard, Jr. for any amount that you wish. Your contribution can make a difference. You can also view three paintings for sale on the gallery website on Albert's personal page. The gallery is forfeiting all commission on these pieces, so 100% sale price will be given directly to Albert.
